Fallout T60 Power Armor Costume
$2,000.00
sold out
The build for this project can be seen at the following links. There many more pictures than what we can host on Etsy.
This suit has been worn to Dragoncon 2017 Friday night at the Hyatt and Marriot, Pensacon 2018, and has been on display at multiple local conventions. We're moving on because we need the space in our shop.
Model in the suit was 6'2" 225lbs. The upper body is mounted to shoulder pads. The arms buckle in under the shoulders. PVC hand holds are inside the forearms for you to hold. The hands DO NOT MOVE, they are static(the pistol is PERMANENTLY mounted to the hand and is a very solid 3D print). The abdomen and codpiece and butt all hang off the chest set up and attach with nylon straps and buckles. The thighs are hung off of a nylon belt with quick release buckles. The shin assembly bolts into the stilts. It's strange to put on, but you will figure it out and NEED HELP AND A HANDLER or multiple!
Who will it fit? Be taller than 5'5" MINIMUM and fit into a set of size XL football shoulder pads. There will be fitting involved.
This suit can be modified. That was the intention of it. Adapt, add to it, customize over time. In the Fallout universe, you're talking about hundreds of years old rusty technology.
Depending on what you wish to do with this suit determines what needs to be done to it. If you want to wear it, you absolutely have to get used to the platforms first. Strap them on, get a walking stick, get comfortable. It's not a perfect system, but it works and is based on the Warhammer 40k suits others have built.
The main body parts are made from 2mm ABS plastic. They are easily repairable and plenty sturdy. If anything breaks, glue plastic to reinforce the interior and use hot glue to make "welds" or fill seams with body filler. Anything is possible.
The Synth Field Helmet in the main photo is NOT included.
The hands may have some fingers missing. We will provide a drop box link to the 3D model files we used. You can commission us to print an entire new set for $100 if you need them.
We plan on shipping in at least 5 boxes via UPS Ground. There is a $75 handling fee for packing materials. It will take us a bit to get everything packed and boxed properly. It can be picked up.
International Interest: We would like to ship worldwide, but contact us for a shipping quote. It may be upwards of $800 to ship depending on where it goes.
Thank you for looking.
